Video: Alec Baldwin shakes his Wii on SNL

This is an older Saturday Night Live clip featuring Alec Baldwin. About the only time I can stand Alec Baldwin is when he is on SNL. Few are as good as he is, especially when he has a Wii in his hand and is making lewd gestures.

The Horror Geek presents: Alyssa Milano signs on for Ghostbusters videogame

Alyssa Milano Signs on for Ghostbusters Video GameIf you're my age (37 later this year) then odds are you and your friends spent a large portion of your childhood lusting after Alyssa Milano. Let's face it—was there really any other reason to watch Who's the Boss? I rest my case.

Variety is reporting that Milano has been hired to voice the female lead in the game, which sees the return of the entire original cast, minus Sigourney Weaver (who declined the offer to return). When asked about replacing Weaver, Milano offered the following:

"Obviously, fans of the movie are going to miss Sigourney Weaver. I have so much respect for that character in the movie that I hope I do the position that she is in justice. I was just flattered to be asked to be part of Ghostbusters."

Milano will be voicing the character of Dr. Ilyssa Selwyn, the brainy guest curator of a "World of Gozer" exhibit at the Natural History Museum.

Ghostbusters hits video game retailers on June 16th. It's available for the PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PC, and Nintendo DS.

The Horror Geek presents: Chiaki Kuriyama is promoting Resident Evil 5

chiaki-kuriyamaWhenever I see hot American girls playing or promoting video games on the 'net, I invariably assume it’s some sort of scam. Hot American girls just don’t play video games. Sure, they might know what a video game is (in the same way they know that lesser female creatures actually have to pay for their own drinks), but it’s not from any actual experience. If through some miracle they manage to actually appear holding a controller correctly or answer a "favorite game" question with something other than Pac-Man or a Mario game, you can rest assured it’s because their handlers were on the ball.

Japan, though, that’s a whole different ballgame. When a girl like Battle Royale/Kill Bill’s Chiaki Kuriyama turns up promoting a game, I totally believe she plays games. Maybe it’s just wishful thinking on my part, but I don't think so. I like to think it’s just one more example in the ever-expanding list of reasons why Japanese women are so much cooler than their American counterparts. I mean, aside from Megan Fox, can you think of one other hot American woman who’d spend a night gaming? I could think of dozens of famous Japanese women who would.

What happens when Mario fan forgets to take his meds?

A guy in a go-kart, on a highway, swerving through traffic, tossing banana peels in front of cars in adjacent lanes... You'd have be nuts to attempt this... or you could be none other than everyone's favorite French practical joker, Rémi Gaillard—I don't know who he is either, but he does a mean Mario impersonation.

Heidi Klum Guitar Hero commercial on The O'Reilly Factor

Bill O'Reilly must have had an intern scouring the Internet for news because the Internet-only version of the Heidi Klum Guitar Hero World Tour commercial was the subject of discussion on last week's The O'Reilly Factor.

The twist is that O'Reilly thinks like most red-blooded American (male) gamers, that Heidi Klum in nothing but a T-Shirt and underwear is very appealing.

But in an effort to not come off as sexist or offend his conservative viewers who might have a problem with the video—and his approval of said video—he asks two pundits to chime in. And in another twist, the conservative female pundits see nothing wrong with the commercial for the most part.

Voice of Marcus Fenix, John Dimaggio interview at TheFukerton.com

My good buddy Chad Dukes (who co-hosts the Big O & Dukes show at WJFK FM-where you can hear my movie review segment every Friday afternoon) landed an exclusive interview with John Dimaggio that's up over at his site TheFukerton.com.

Who's John Dimaggio? Only the guy with one of the coolest gigs in the world. Not only is he the voice of Futurama's wisecracking robot Bender, but he's also the voice actor responsible for Gears of War's Marcus Fenix. Check out the two part interview here.
